The recent one is a road runner that was posing right beside the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail in Big Bend National Park:

Nearby, this is the place where Forest Gump stopped running after 3 years, 2 months, 14 days, and 16 hours, and said "I'm pretty tired, think I'll go home now."
